Application FAQs and Process Where can I get an application form? To see and/or download the application forms, click here , or you may request them from any RBC or RBTT branch. Once I complete the application forms, what do I do? Once you have filled out the application forms with the required information as instructed, the forms should then be submitted to any RBC or RBTT branch in your country, for onward delivery to: RBC/RBTT Caribbean Children’s Cancer Fund c/o Corporate Communications & Brand RBTT Financial Group Ground Floor West St. Clair Place 7-9 St. Clair Avenue Port of Spain, TRINIDAD, W.I. The Corporate Communications Department will then review the application to ensure that all the required information is submitted. Once it is determined that the application is completed satisfactorily, it will then be submitted to the CTF for review and assessment by the Screening Committee and Board of Medical Doctors who will make a determination based on the information provided. How long will it take for me to get a response from the date my application is submitted? RBC/RBTT and the CTF understand that in circumstances where children are affected with Cancer and require treatment, that time is critical. The CTF will review and make a decision on each applicant’s case and respond to the applicant at the soonest possible time to provide them with an update on the status of their application. It should be noted that each case will be assigned a reference number for confidentiality. The application then goes to the CTF Screening Committee to determine if the application meets the criteria. The applicant’s medical information then goes before a board of trained medical practitioners to confirm cancer diagnosis and recommended treatment. Can I re-apply at any other point if my application was previously declined? If circumstances change, e.g. additional costs arise which were not originally anticipated or costs far exceed the original application, or the financial situation of the applicant changes, an applicant may re-apply. The patient must complete a new application and re-submit all supporting documents. | |
